Latest Fishing Reports

The Striped Bass fishing got tough last week as they started to spawn and stopped chewing like they were. we still managed some nice fish but it was frustrating having the great marks and not alot of fish to show for it....weather wasnt that nice either to add to the pain....but the bite should come back a little this week and get even better after the full moon!

on a side note....Sea Bass and Fluke Season is now open in NJ and we are taking reservations for those species as well as the Stripers!....we will start Live Lining Bass on May 31st....those trips are 750.00 for 5 Anglers from 6 a.m. - 1 p.m.

call to get in on the action!!!!!!!

Another great week of fabulous striped bass fishing in the bay and the ocean. Fish being taken on clams, bunker and trolling even when the weather didnt want to co operate so much! Limits are still being taken and they are putting on some weight. Also had a few big Bluefish in the 10 lb range so that fishery will soon explode as well. Had our first Fluke on the boat....a fat 20 inch fish followed by an even fatter 22' 4 lb fish.....hopefully a good sign for our summer friends!!!!!!

The Striper action is RED HOT right now with fish up to 25lbs being caught in the bay add the ocean.....trolling and fishing bait is working well! Call now to book your trip and get in on this great fishing!!!!!

Its been a long wait......but they finally showed!.......we have had a solid week of Stripers on the Eels and also a clam bite materializing as well. Bass to 25 lbs have been caught and this should only get better from here out!

We are now sailing for Stripers every day.....check out our pics and call us to book a trip as the dates are filling up for November Quickly!

The Bottom fishing is just on FIRE lately....the Porgys are chewingf their heads off and some nice size ones are coming over the rail. The Sea Bass are also Cooperating with a ton of short fish being caught in the midst of a few nice size ones being taken. Blackfish are starting to chew as well, so we will have Green Crabs available on request.

Stripers fishing is starting off slow here....i thing this run of cold nights we are having this week will jump start that fishery into gear shortly....Eels will be the ticket in October and Early November, then the Jigging and trolling will begin!

Our last few trips have been excellent on the Bottom fishing....we are beating up the Porgy and Sea Bass with a few Blackfish coming over the rails....the Stripers have been slow to start but now that we are off the Full Moon that should spark up nicely after a few cold nights!!!!!!

if bottom fishing is your game....get in on this nice mix of fish now!!!!!!!

Our first September Sandy Hook Charter Boats Mixed Bag trip was a pretty good one....Had Jason Chung and crew of Dave, Jessica and Kim out.....first drop was a try for the Stripers but they just didnt want to chew although i did read them well on the machine....picked up and ran to some Porgy numbers and it was drop and reel fishing for a steady 3 hours! The gang did excellent filling up half of my 55 gal barrel. A couple of nice big Blowfish were caught as well.

Nice trip....Thank you!!!!

we have had some good trips in August for the Fluke with the best trips coming at the end of the month.....we   are  having to fish further offshore but it has been paying off....looks like they are stacked up for the offshore migration and the best fishing has been from 4-11 miles off the beach.....still some good fishing to be had so call now to get in on the last 3 weeks of the Fluke Season!

Sea Bass Closes on Sept 3rd and will remain closed until Sept. 22nd....we will resume fishing for them on Sept. 23rd

We will start Striper fishing on Oct 1st Eeling and Clamming for them...call now to book as the weekends are filling up quickly!!!!!!!

In Sept, we will offer Pot Hopping Mahi Mahi trips and trolling for Albies and Bonito on those trips as well.....very fun and exciting trips for sure!

Sept and Oct offer some great fishing opportunities for a good variety of fish.....call now to see whats biting and book a trip!!!!!!!!

The fish are starting to definately get ready for their migration, Stacking up in the deeper water in the ocean. We have had fish to 5 lbs this week and they are some FAT fish. The Sea Bass fishing continues to be decent and we have had a smattering of Triggerfish the last couple of trips....also a few Weakfish have been caught. We should be seeing some Porgy action soon in the bay as well. The Night bite for Stripers has been ok with smaller fish dominating the catch with some keepers mixed in.

Now is the time to book that Fluke trip....hopefully it isnt a repeat of last year when the Hurricane rolled through and shut down the Fluke fishing for the rest of the season.

The Fluking around Sandy Hook continues to produce a steady bite in between all the weather and storms. our last few trips has produced fluke pusing the scale down close to 6 lbs. In the mix has been a decent Sea Bass bite with some nice fish coming over the rails. August is a great month for the Bigger fish and we will start fishing the deeper waters this month as the Fluke start to Stack up for their offshore migration. August is Prime Time Doormat Fishing so call us now to get in on this great fishery!!!!!
