Latest Fishing Reports

The Bay has been hit or miss lately with bodies of fish being scattered around and different bodies coming in and out....no consistancy as of late but we still pluck fish to 4-6 lbs.

The ocean has been more consistent with little bit larger fish and Sea Bass and Ling thrown in the mix!

we have been catching the Striped Bass in the mornings and then switching to the Fluke. Weather has put a damper on the phone calls for people wanting to go, but these fish are pretty local so we can get to them without a problem. Fluke fishing has been steady and the Sea Bass have been  up to 6 lbs and Porgy fishing was good when we could get offshore! call to get out on a trip!

The Fluke and Sea Bass fishing is picking up nicely as of this past weekend!....had some really good action with sea bass to 4 lbs out in the deep and on the Fluke front.....lots of just short fish with nice keepers to 4.5 lbs.....and we caught the Largest Fluke Reported on the Jersey Shore as of yet......a 12.6 lb monster caught by Morgan Neff of Lancaster P.A.   CHECK OUR PHOTO GALLERY FOR THE PICS!

The cold ocean temps keeps the bass fishing on and off....there is still some fish to the south of us and they should start to come up to us as soon as the water hits a steady 60 degrees....hopefully soon here!

We have started to run Open boat for Fluke which is pretty good so far and will only get better from here!

Live Line trips are Charter Trips only and we will have Fluke bait on board if the bass fishing is slow.

Lots of good availability in June for either Fluke or Stripers and we will start the Shark Trips soon as that ocean temp hits 60 and remains Steady.

Also Bluefin Trips will begin 3rd week of June so call now to book those trips up!

Between the Full moon and the nasty weather, the fishing was a bit tougher last week. Hoards of  bLUEFISH  continued to dominate the catches with the bass in the mix but outnumbered. The bass are still around and i think it will be a few days off this moon for them to bite again so hopefully this will be the weekend. Water temps dropped low again really fast and im sure that has something to do with the bite being off as well!

The Striped Bass fishing got tough last week as they started to spawn and stopped chewing like they were. we still managed some nice fish but it was frustrating having the great marks and not alot of fish to show for it....weather wasnt that nice either to add to the pain....but the bite should come back a little this week and get even better after the full moon!

on a side note....Sea Bass and Fluke Season is now open in NJ and we are taking reservations for those species as well as the Stripers!....we will start Live Lining Bass on May 31st....those trips are 750.00 for 5 Anglers from 6 a.m. - 1 p.m.

call to get in on the action!!!!!!!

Another great week of fabulous striped bass fishing in the bay and the ocean. Fish being taken on clams, bunker and trolling even when the weather didnt want to co operate so much! Limits are still being taken and they are putting on some weight. Also had a few big Bluefish in the 10 lb range so that fishery will soon explode as well. Had our first Fluke on the boat....a fat 20 inch fish followed by an even fatter 22' 4 lb fish.....hopefully a good sign for our summer friends!!!!!!

The Striper action is RED HOT right now with fish up to 25lbs being caught in the bay add the ocean.....trolling and fishing bait is working well! Call now to book your trip and get in on this great fishing!!!!!

Its been a long wait......but they finally showed!.......we have had a solid week of Stripers on the Eels and also a clam bite materializing as well. Bass to 25 lbs have been caught and this should only get better from here out!

We are now sailing for Stripers every day.....check out our pics and call us to book a trip as the dates are filling up for November Quickly!

The Bottom fishing is just on FIRE lately....the Porgys are chewingf their heads off and some nice size ones are coming over the rail. The Sea Bass are also Cooperating with a ton of short fish being caught in the midst of a few nice size ones being taken. Blackfish are starting to chew as well, so we will have Green Crabs available on request.

Stripers fishing is starting off slow here....i thing this run of cold nights we are having this week will jump start that fishery into gear shortly....Eels will be the ticket in October and Early November, then the Jigging and trolling will begin!
