Latest Fishing Reports

The Bottom fishing is just on FIRE lately....the Porgys are chewingf their heads off and some nice size ones are coming over the rail. The Sea Bass are also Cooperating with a ton of short fish being caught in the midst of a few nice size ones being taken. Blackfish are starting to chew as well, so we will have Green Crabs available on request.

Stripers fishing is starting off slow here....i thing this run of cold nights we are having this week will jump start that fishery into gear shortly....Eels will be the ticket in October and Early November, then the Jigging and trolling will begin!

Our last few trips have been excellent on the Bottom fishing....we are beating up the Porgy and Sea Bass with a few Blackfish coming over the rails....the Stripers have been slow to start but now that we are off the Full Moon that should spark up nicely after a few cold nights!!!!!!

Our first September Sandy Hook Charter Boats Mixed Bag trip was a pretty good one....Had Jason Chung and crew of Dave, Jessica and Kim out.....first drop was a try for the Stripers but they just didnt want to chew although i did read them well on the machine....picked up and ran to some Porgy numbers and it was drop and reel fishing for a steady 3 hours! The gang did excellent filling up half of my 55 gal barrel. A couple of nice big Blowfish were caught as well.

Nice trip....Thank you!!!!

we have had some good trips in August for the Fluke with the best trips coming at the end of the month.....we   are  having to fish further offshore but it has been paying off....looks like they are stacked up for the offshore migration and the best fishing has been from 4-11 miles off the beach.....still some good fishing to be had so call now to get in on the last 3 weeks of the Fluke Season!

The fish are starting to definately get ready for their migration, Stacking up in the deeper water in the ocean. We have had fish to 5 lbs this week and they are some FAT fish. The Sea Bass fishing continues to be decent and we have had a smattering of Triggerfish the last couple of trips....also a few Weakfish have been caught. We should be seeing some Porgy action soon in the bay as well. The Night bite for Stripers has been ok with smaller fish dominating the catch with some keepers mixed in.

Now is the time to book that Fluke trip....hopefully it isnt a repeat of last year when the Hurricane rolled through and shut down the Fluke fishing for the rest of the season.

The Fluking around Sandy Hook continues to produce a steady bite in between all the weather and storms. our last few trips has produced fluke pusing the scale down close to 6 lbs. In the mix has been a decent Sea Bass bite with some nice fish coming over the rails. August is a great month for the Bigger fish and we will start fishing the deeper waters this month as the Fluke start to Stack up for their offshore migration. August is Prime Time Doormat Fishing so call us now to get in on this great fishery!!!!!

The Sea Bass and Fluke Fishing Remains steady as of late. Fluke up to 5 lbs are not uncommon on trips and some nice Knuckle Heads have been coming over the rails as well....in addition, Blackfish season has opened (1 fish per man @ 15" right now) and we should see a couple of these on our Sea Bass trips along with a few Porgies as well.

Our Night Worming trips usually see the first smattering of Porgies as we fish those areas at the start of the trips and should get better as we get into august!

our last few trips have seen a decent number of Sea Bass except the last trip....which i think was in part to the full moon and a fast current. i expect this to pick back up this weekend after the moon has passed. we will be sailing on Sat for the Sea Bass and the Deepwater Fluke so i will post a report up on the weekends events.

The fluking has been mostly throws with 50 + fish coming over the rails, but again, the fish are a little bigger in the deep rocky stuff we fish on these Deep Water Fluke Trips and we have had Knuckle Head Sea Bass up to 4 lbs.

Dont forget to ask about our On Board Fluke Pool....Costs 10$ which enters you for the entire Fluke Season no matter how many times you fish on our boat....Winner takes all Pool at the end of Fluke Season....Right now its a 5.5 lb Fish Caught by Thomas Porsal.

With the Striper run coming to an end, we are switching gears to the Summer Quarries.....

We will be fishing for Blue Fin Tuna, Mahi Mahi and Sharking on the offshore grounds Trolling and Jigging the tuna and mahi, and setting up a nice chumslick and drifting for Mako, Thresher and Blue Shark.

On the Inshore side of things we will be fishing for Fluke, Sea Bass and Bluefish as our main targets.

The Sea Bass Action has been good lately and we look forward to catching those tasty critters as always.....check out our open boat availability or book a charter to get in on this fine fishing over the summer!!!!

The Large Bass are on the Feed.....loads of Bait and some nice fish under them. Ran the Center Console out of Manasquan with Capt. Howie  along with Chris and Company From Bangor P.A. for an evening Bass trip. Less than favorable conditions greeted us, but the guys hung in there, fishing through it until it laid down nicely at the end of the night....Kept the boys out a little late as the bite turned on when it was time to go home....the guys landed fish from 26 lbs to 41 lbs. Nice Job to the crew!!!!!!
